Scholarship
The applicant must attend an accredited institution of higher learning. Scholarships are considered for undergraduate, graduate and doctorate students. Attendance may be in person or virtual, or both. Student attendance may be full time or part time.
Minimum GPA 2.5
Educational curriculum must be a path of study in preparation of a life dedicated to a Christian ministry. Christian Ministry is defined as acts of service to others, sometimes carries the more powerful connotation of servitude to God, and implies a sense of being duty-bound to work under God's authority as His loyal servant. Every educational curriculum must include classes in Christian studies that support the chosen Christian ministry path. Examples of a Christian ministry include but are not limited to, ordained ministers, Christian music/worship leadership, formal Christian based counseling, gospel music artistry, Christian radio operation, Christian youth ministry, and Christian missionary service. The words Christian ministry are broadly interpreted. Tell us about your Christian ministry.
Scholarships are considered by the HHF Board year round. Each scholarship application is carefully reviewed and discussed by the HHF Board. Decisions of the HHF Board are final.
The dollar amount of any scholarship award is determined by the HHF Board. Only one scholarship shall be awarded to a student during any one year time period. Half-year scholarships are prorated to one half the dollar amount of a full year award. Part time student scholarships are prorated to one half the dollar amount of a full time, one year award.
Students must maintain or improve their GPA to continue their eligibility.
Students may change their educational major but any new major must continue to be a path of study in preparation of a life dedicated to a Christian ministry in order to maintain their eligibility.
Students may, and are encouraged, to re-apply each scholarship year.
Only complete applications and supporting attachments will be considered.
Please send completed applications and supporting attachments to hello@hopperheritagefoundation.org
